Thanks Cameron!

It was a pleasure to see Cameron Philpot yesterday to give our thanks for the work he did with us until his resignation last year.  Cameron was an active member of our Management Committee over 25 years.  He took on the role of Vice Chairman and Secretary several times over the years.  He was also Chair of our Personnel Sub Committee.  Michael Gordon, current Chair of DLC, presented the award, thanking Cameron for his commitment to the organisation.

A Quality Service!

Derbyshire Law Centre is proud at, once again, at achieving Service Quality Mark status.  A thorough audit of all parts of the service was carried out yesterday (1st March) by SQM Delivery Partnership and the organisation passed with flying colours.  Lisa Haythorne, Solicitor at Derbyshire Law Centre said “We are delighted that our quality service has been recognised again and we can continue to provide advice services in Derbyshire”.

National Award for Derbyshire Law Centre

We are pleased and proud to have received a national award from the Law Centres Network for our “tenacity, creativity and defiant response to cuts through extending services to the people of Derbyshire”.

New Logo!

Derbyshire Law Centre has now changed it’s logo to the Law Centres Network national branding.  The new colourful image is being used by all Law Centres by January 2016.  This is happening at the same time as the new Derbyshire Law Centre website went live.
