We offer specialist advice in discrimination law to all residents of Derbyshire and, depending on individual circumstances, to surrounding areas as well.
We advise individuals who believe they have experienced discrimination, victimisation or harassment on the grounds of protected characteristics. Examples of protected characteristics are: Age, Disability, Pregnancy and Maternity, Race, Religion of Belief, Sex and Sexual Orientation. The level of advice we can provide depends on the issue.
From 1 September 2019 we will have a Legal Aid contract in discrimination and so if you are eligible for legal aid we may be able to help you free of charge.
If you have legal expenses insurance you may be able to make a claim and cover our costs that way. View the video below:
